1. Important distinction: Terra Signal is not the seller

Terra Signal does not operate a shopping cart, take payment or accept product orders on farawaybrothers.com. The Minelab VANQUISH 340 CTA opens an independent seller’s website, where the purchase is completed. This means the seller that accepts your order and payment is the business responsible for its delivery, cancellation, repair, replacement and refund process.

Before buying, review the seller’s current return period, return-address requirements, exclusions, delivery terms and any conditions for international orders. Those terms can change independently of Terra Signal.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Australian Consumer Law provides automatic consumer guarantees in circumstances where it applies. Consumers may be entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement or refund when goods fail to meet applicable guarantees, and businesses cannot lawfully remove rights that the law makes non-excludable.

For overseas online purchases, the application and practical enforceability of Australian Consumer Law can depend on whether the overseas business directly offers its goods or services to consumers in Australia and on the circumstances of the transaction. If a retailer does not directly offer the product to Australia and the transaction occurs entirely overseas, Australian Consumer Law may not apply in the same way.

3. Change-of-mind returns

Change-of-mind returns are not created by Terra Signal because no sale occurs on this website. Whether an external retailer accepts a change-of-mind return depends on that retailer’s current policy and the law applicable to the sale. Check the seller’s return information before completing checkout.

4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or materially different from what was ordered, contact the seller that accepted payment as soon as reasonably possible and keep order confirmation, photographs, packaging and relevant correspondence. The available remedy will depend on the seller’s obligations, the applicable consumer law and the nature of the problem.

Manufacturer warranties can provide additional rights but do not replace rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law. Minelab publishes a manufacturer warranty for the VANQUISH 340; the current manufacturer and seller terms should be checked at the time of purchase.

5. International shipping and return costs

International orders can involve customs processing, import taxes, currency conversion and return freight. Responsibility for these costs depends on the seller’s terms and applicable law. Terra Signal does not collect or reimburse shipping or import charges for purchases completed on external websites.

6. How to pursue a purchase issue

Use the order contact channel provided by the external retailer and quote the order number, purchase date and product. If the issue concerns a payment-card transaction and the seller does not resolve it, your card provider or payment service may have its own dispute or chargeback process subject to time limits and terms.
